SMS Privacy (YMCA Programs)
This section applies specifically to SMS/text messaging programs operated by participating YMCA organizations (“YMCA”) using the Mission Lens platform.
Mission Lens LLC provides the technology platform that enables SMS communications on behalf of participating YMCAs but does not independently operate SMS programs or send messages to end users.
Information Collected
When you engage in SMS communications with a YMCA, the following information may be collected and processed:
- Mobile phone number
- SMS message content sent and received
- Date and time of messages
- Opt-in and opt-out status
Use of SMS Information
SMS information is used solely to:
- Respond to user-initiated requests
- Provide customer service and program assistance
- Support class or program registration
- Maintain records of consent and opt-out requests
No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to any third parties for marketing, promotional, or unrelated purposes.

- Usage and Log Data: active storage for 90 days; archived up to one year
